2007-2010 Regional Brand Manager, Karl Lagerfeld Eyewear (based in Amsterdam)
This position is with Marchon: Marchon joined the VSP group in 2008 and is one of the largest eyewear manufacturers and distributors in the world. Marchon’s portfolio contains some of the world’s most prestigious fashion, designer and port/technology brands (Calvin Klein, Ck Calvin Klein, Coach, Emilio Pucci, Fendi, Flexon, Jil Sander, Karl Lagerfeld, Michael Kors, Michael Michael Kors, Nautica, Nike, Oscar de la Renta and Sean John). Its production units are based in Italy, Japan and other countries, ensuring maximum flexibility.

Brand management:
 Working with brand executives to develop and maintain business plan
 Working with country managers to collect, organize, and help analyze sales and market feedback, marketing and promotional programs (globally)
 Driving development of advertising and promotional materials with marketing managers, customer services and licensor
 Working with global training teams to ensure brand information is ample, current and accurate
 Coordinating and monitoring all calendars
 Monitoring global product releases to ensure business strategies and needs are addressed
 Working with countries to ensure brand message is consistent and clear
 Monitoring brand brief each year

Licensor:
 Ensuring licensor and licensee’s needs are being met
 Monitoring licensor products and managing marketing meetings

Marketing Responsibilities (above & below the line):
 Identifying needs by researching sectors for global brand information. With Brand, ensuring timely briefing to licensor on marketing needs, goals, distribution, quantities and delivery dates
 Strategizing programs before ordering materials to help determine a budget range and quantity
 Communicating POP items or program details to international offices before ordering, to help determine financial viability of an item or program
 Working with supply chain, customer services, sales team and services that may be affected by item or program created
 Monitoring and evaluating usage of all items
 Anticipating future market strategies that may increase demand or make current inventory obsolete
