Title: Supervisor Credit Control and Credit Insurance Specialist

In the past 4 years our company integrated two other companies in our books and systems. With the acquisition of these companies, I travelled a lot to Germany, Poland, Italy and England to give trainig, which I made myself, to the locals, so they understood the way we work and knew the rules we apply for Credit Management. This took in total 3 years. Besides that I have my own key account customers in Italy, England and the Nordics countries. I am also the back up of the European Credit Manager and responsible for the team of 4 credit controlers, when he is out of the office.
Besides the credit management functions , I'm also responsible for the credit insurance within the company. We work with two different insurance companies and one broker which I have regular contact with. Every month I make the reports for these companies (Sales/Overdue) and decide which customers should be insured.

Dell-Computers – Schiphol-Rijk / 01-03-2000 till 01-04-2001
Title: Accounts Receivable Management and Creditors management

Set up Accounts Receivable Department. I was asked by the Risk Manager to join Dell Computers, so I could set up the accounts receivable department. At that time they didn’t have such a department and they also didn’t have the people to collect the outstanding balances. I came in and started to work with the sales department together and used Excel for the administration of all the debtors. After 4 months I hired an extra person to do the outbound calling.

I had my own portfolio with customers. I handled the debtors of my customers from beginning till end. If a lawsuit was necessary I would recommend that to the customer and hand the case over to the jurist.

Anoz was a health insurance company (now AGIS). I worked as a customer service employee and answered all kinds of calls from customers with questions they had about the insurance.
