Throughout my degree and post-doc positions I have had to give various talks and seminars in presenting research findings to peers and academic staff. I recently addressed over 40 academics in Athens, Greece acting on behalf of the University for the European Union funding project (CONNECT). I have also presented at VSMM 2005/2006, including an invited Keynote address. Nominated for best paper at VSMM 2006.
Ran Task Analyses workshop and usability groups and evaluation services for the CONNECT project in Athens (Greece), Vaxjo (Sweden), Helsinki (Finland), Bristol (UK) and Bonn (Germany).

Teamwork
Produced an autonomous robot as part of my Systems Engineering degree module. Working in a team of 5 we successfully integrated the design of the software, electronics and mechanics to compete in an inter-school competition (1 awarded).

Problem Solving
Pioneered new work practices and restructuring when accuracy objectives were not being met during contract work for OCS Churchill. These suggestions were taken on board, thus improving accuracy and subsequently reduced financial penalties.

Leadership
Managing Director of several initiatives in the creative and industrial areas.

Lead an exhibition in climbing to the summit of El Misti, a 5825m extinct volcano in Arequipa, Peru. This included dealing with extreme temperatures and altitude, as well as advanced planning for supplies and shelter.
