• Defining and leading the category strategy and vision for Nike Retail stores in EMEA across Footwear, Apparel and Equipment in order to guide optimal product assortment, collections and offerings. • Provide Merchandising team, BU’s & Category teams with feedback on direction for future seasons, by the use of store & market feedback together with current & upcoming industry and consumer trends.
• Be a business partner establishing professional relationships throughout the business, driving merchandising plans and strategies that support seasonal key stories and initiatives.
• Work closely with Country Merchandising Managers and Regional Marketplace Managers to ensure differentiation of Nike stores in the marketplace and ensure Nike store assortments are complimentary to country distribution strategies.
• Work closely with Global & EMEA & Country Category and Merchandising teams to determine product assortments for Category specific stores/ Flagship stores. Secure differentiated product to enhance Category presentation in Retail doors and improve profitability.
• Communicate merchandising strategies, vision and business results to cross-functional teams (within Retail but also to BU’s and FOP Categories) to accomplish goals and objectives.
