2008
I started working as a freelance designer, setting my mark in the underground music scene of Ioannina [GR] where I did my bachelor studies. During this time, I collaborated with quite a few underground clubs, for which I designed posters & flyers for their events, and logos for their identities.
2009
Graphic Design I started a permanent collaboration with DJ & Producer Sahpe [UK/GR]. Up until today, I am the person who comes up with the visual concepts & designs for his musical events.
Permanent Art Direction A long-lived, deep and highly inspirational collaboration with a music producer called Lowknee [NL/GR] began in late 2009. This project has me being responsible for the complete visual identity of the artist, all the artworks for his music and his video-clips as well.
2010
Permanent Art Direction / Video Art I became the founder & 1-half of the Detuned Pixels Experimental Audiovisual Team. The work of this duet concentrates on turning music into picture and vice-versa, and for this I am challenged to come up with various visual concepts and ways of generating graphics basd on sound. Video Art A hectic but fun summer project for Natural Beat Festival [IT], where I created a 4-hour long video sequence to be played at the main stage of NBF 2010. Branding / Art Direction / Packaging A quite big project, as I was responsible for the complete art direction for the identity, promotion & printed design of the first (self-titled) album for theSidesteps band [BE].
2011
Video Art
By the end of the year, Deepindub Netlabel [IT] made contact with me and we began a collaboration which made me a permanent creative partner & video artist, as I worked on numerous videos & artworks for the releases of the label. Art Direction / Visual Identity For the next year of Natural Beat Festival [IT], I was a candidate designer and contributor while forming the visual identity of NBF 2011. I worked on the logo modifications to make it more "fresh" for 2011, as well as on some poster/billboard concepts. Exhibition My first freestyle, open-air exhibition in Ioannina [GR]. I exhibited various of my digital artworks and visual pieces in an open park, on a beautiful greek summer afternoon.
2012
Video Art Having gained more experience with video art, I made contact with The Smiling Strangers [IT] and I created the official video of their track called "Rays Of Sunshine". The same year I collaborated with Pesto Label [DE], for which I created the official video for one of their releases called "Not my voice". Exhibition My second exhibition took place at -1 Gallery in Ioannina [GR]. There, I exhibited various of my digital artworks and sketches (pencil on paper).
2013
Exhibition My third exhibition took place in Thessaloniki [GR], at Fragile Bar/Gallery. There, I exhibited various digital artworks from personal and collaborative experiments I had made, together with a comic-based artwork printed on fabric and selected sketches (pencil on paper). Graphic Design / Digital Art Another opportunity to work with printed material came when from IoanninaOut Magazine [GR], where I combined my graphic design & hand drawing/sketching skills for creating some of their magazine covers. Moreover, I worked with a greek creative team/blog called Lick My Brush on designing their logo.
2014
Future Exhibition My future exhibition in Thessaloniki [GR], at Tettix Gallery in mid-2014. I will exhibit a small comic story which I am creating from scratch, namely its digital comic book, some paintings on canvas and paper and video art, all of which are either inspired or extracted by this comic. Permanent Art Direction / Visual Identity I met with a young theatrical collective called Carpe Diem, and I became their art director. In detail, I was responsible for the whole branding aspect of the team, produced their promotional videos and took care of their printed material as well. Video Editing I spent some time being a temporary partner in a photography studio in Thessaloniki [GR], where I worked on video editing and applied montage techniques in raw video material.
