Centralizing the payroll from the local offices to the European Headquarters in Amstelveen.
o Managing the full process of switching from current provider to new provider (ADP Streamline)
o Manage data collection and answering questions from new provider
o Arranging all necessary legal documentation for taxes, social security etc. Set up of legal entity, new bank account and payment method. Arranging POAs.
o Working with the new providers to customize output files such as GL File and payroll reconciliation file
o Communicate change in payroll provider to local offices
o Work with local HR and previous provider on knowledge transfer
o Check test run of payslips from new provider and manage changes needed to ensure accurate first run.
o Create and update process documentation
Day to Day payroll activities
o Manage fully outsourced payroll cycles with various deadlines throughout the month including Expats.
o Checking input from local HR and preparation of input for ADP
o Ensure timely gathering of information from HR Generalists
o Checking of output received from ADP and investigating any variances
o Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, social security and taxes
o Responsible for safeguarding payroll procedures and ensure internal controls are adhered to
o Manage various requests for information from employees & business partners relating to payroll
o Working closely with Shared Service Center relating to the booking of the payroll. Following up on any inconsistencies in the GL or reconciliation files.
o Assist in requests from audit partners
o Coordinating all end of year processes
o Create and update payroll procedures and work to optimize processes and establish best practices
o Checking data input in Peoplesoft and run control reports.

HR Projects: I have been involved with several HR Projects, most notably producing a guide on HR Services processes and guidelines which has been adopted throughout the business. I was also involved in an SAP Project, producing a guide as to how SAP should be used to record Data and cleaning up all existing data within SAP in order to ensure that all data is accurate. Together with the learning and development team, I created an E-Learning training for new hires on how to use SAP and I went to the USA Office for three weeks to give Processes and SAP Training.
2009/10 IBM: German payroll Practitioner (Newcastle, United Kingdom)
Working in a team of three payroll administrators, inputting, calculating and processing all monthly payroll data for 3000 employees in Germany using SAP payroll system. (in-house, not via external provider)
Working together with the HR team to ensure timely and accurate payroll

Set up entirely new payroll for takeover of office in Germany. This involved setting up SAP for completely new entity, complete knowledge transfer, testing, communicating changes to employees, creating new documentation.
